Terms of use

Last updated: September 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WiseWallee ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree to them, please don't use the app.

2. What the app does

WiseWallee is a personal budgeting tool. It lets you create wallets to track balances in different currencies, record income and expense transactions, organize them with categories, and set budgets with spending limits over a recurring period. Charts and a dashboard summarize your activity. You can export your transactions as a CSV file and import them back in.

WiseWallee is a tool for organizing information you provide — it doesn't connect to your bank, verify your transactions, or provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on the app are your own responsibility.

3. Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Subscription plans

WiseWallee offers a free Basic plan and a paid Pro plan; the current features, limits, and pricing for each are described on the Subscription page in the app.

Billing isn't connected yet. At present no payment is collected for either plan, and a change of plan is applied by hand after you request it from the Subscription page in the app. The paragraph below describes how paid subscriptions will work once billing is introduced; we'll update these Terms before that happens.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you chose (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we don't provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law. We may change plan pricing or features going forward; we'll give you reasonable notice before any change takes effect for an existing subscription.

5. Acceptable use

Please use the app only for lawful purposes. Don't attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the app or other users' data, reverse-engineer it beyond what's legally permitted, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.

6. Your data and content

You own the financial data you enter into WiseWallee — your wallets, transactions, budgets, and categories. We don't claim any ownership over it. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for keeping your own backups (for example, by exporting a CSV copy) if that matters to you.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of loss of data, and we don't warrant the accuracy of any calculation, chart, or summary it produces.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WiseWallee and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or financial loss resulting from decisions made using information in the app.

9. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or to us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
